Luke 18:16-17

‘But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”’

Children are a very important part of Pendleton UMC. We have several ministries dedicated to nurturing our youngest members. We invite you and your family to become involved with any of our available groups.

Sunday School for Children

Stay up to Date by Following Us on Facebook!

Our current Sunday School layout is a “Large Group, Small Group” format. All children from 5K to 5th grade will meet in the Clubhouse located in the last classroom upstairs in the new building.

During the first 20 minutes of the “Large Group”, the children will participate in social time, games, prayer, song, Bible skills, memory verses, Bible stories and a video.

The last 20 minutes will be spent in their classrooms across the hall from the clubhouse in their “Small Group”, participating in activities that reinforce the Bible lesson and video from the day.

Children can be picked up from one of these two classrooms at 10:45am.

For any additional questions or concerns, please contact one of our Children’s Ministry Directors via email.
